By our definition the Limited Term Employees are not regularly scheduled and are available to work open shifts. Limited Term Employees (LTEs) have no guarantee as to the number shifts they may be requested to work and are often called upon to work with little advance notice. The position calls for a responsible and experienced State of Wisconsin licensed Paramedic. Applicants must have a valid and current State of WI driver license, Healthcare Provider CPR certificate, PALS certificate, and ACLS certificate. Other trainings are encouraged as well as preferably two years of direct EMS and healthcare experience. The paramedic shall be able to effectively respond to medical emergencies providing patient care as an ALS paramedic provider, safely operate the department vehicles, communicate properly with radio equipment, work cooperatively with other healthcare providers, complete patient care reports with computer hardware/software available, coordinate completion of daily duties with other crew team members, and effectively report incidents that need further action to Officer Staff.
