Full and part time paramedics with Deer-Grove EMS work regularly scheduled shifts. Applicants must have a valid and current State of WI driver license, Healthcare/BLS Provider CPR certificate, PALS certificate, ACLS certificate, and CEVO/EVOC. Other trainings are encouraged as well as preferably two years of direct EMS and healthcare experience. The paramedic shall be able to effectively respond to medical emergencies providing patient care as an ALS paramedic provider, safely operate the department vehicles, communicate properly with radio equipment, work cooperatively with other healthcare providers, complete patient care reports with computer hardware/software available, coordinate completion of daily duties with other crew team members, and effectively report incidents that need further action to Officer Staff. Ancillary on shift duties may be assigned as well.
