DEER GROVE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE
Serving the Villages and Townships of Cottage Grove and Deerfield, and portions of the Town of Pleasant Springs in Dane County, Wisconsin
|Welcome||August 4, 2021|
The Deer-Grove EMS District serves over 16,000 people in the Town and Village of Cottage Grove, the Town and Village of Deerfield, and portions of the Town of Pleasant Springs in Dane County, Wisconsin.
Deer-Grove EMS is a State of Wisconsin certified Paramedic Service that provides 911 Emergency Medical response 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, by a staff that includes both paid and volunteer professionals. We strive to foster a work environment where staff members feel compelled to stay and continue to offer their skills and service to the people of our district. As DGEMS remains strongly committed to keeping alive the volunteer aspect of the service which was its historical starting point, the service is also committed to maintaining a synergistic relationship between the paid staff and volunteers in this combination department.
We continue to grow to meet the needs of the communities we serve. In addition to responding to roughly 1,000 emergency calls each year, our staff members participate in numerous community events throughout the year. We want the community we serve to know that we are here for them and we like to offer our skills and knowledge base to pro-actively help as we can. You can read more about this on the Community Medic page, and make a request for us to particpate in your event on the Public Request page.
Deer-Grove EMS is a registered training facility for CPR/First Aid/AED training!
